About This Site
0. Use of Open Source Content and Resources
Track-A-Bracket.com and ThetaHost Solutions actively support and encourage the use of Open Source and Creative Commons licensed content and resources. We are extremely grateful to the following entities for generously making their resources available under such a permissive license:
- The Silk Icons Project: Numerous icons on this site were created and made available by the Silk Icons project and released under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License.
- Larabie Fonts: A subsidiary of Typodermic which provides fonts for free use. In particular, their Kenyan Coffee font was used in the logo of this site.
- dafont.com font downloads: Provides an excellent search engine for browsing free fonts and displaying them with sample text.
- The CodeIgniter Framework: An open-source PHP web application framework with an emphasis on simplicity, performance, and clean use of the MVC design pattern.
- Firebug: An excellent website debugger/inspector, Firebug is quite simply the best tool of its kind and is an invaluable aid in designing and debugging JavaScript, DOM, and AJAX. Released under the Mozilla Public License.
- Zwahlen Design Web Badges: Standard 80x15 "web badge" icons for various purposes. Released under the GPL.
Track-A-Bracket.com also supports the free, open-source Firefox web browser. While this site is designed to comply with published web standards such as XHTML, CSS, and ECMAScript, and therefore will render and function correctly in any browser which properly supports these standards, we are particularly grateful to the Firefox project and community for producing a top-notch browser and for bringing standards compliance back to the forefront of modern web design.
